Design

Your custom-made plastic profile. We get into dialogue to find the ideal solution for your question: our drawing office provides you a technical draft or sample drawn up according to your needs. If necessary, we visualize the design in 3D to give you the perfect image of how the end product will look like. The design process is finished with a 3D print, which allows you to verify if the designed profile responds to your concrete demands.

Laboratory

After finishing the design phase, our lab team puts the design to several tests, if the application requires it (such as shrinkage tests, impact resistance, colour tests). PlasTec is familiar with all sorts of tests, because we cooperate with approved laboratories. We check if the design is water and windproof and carry out impact and UV resistance tests, in order to avoid unpleasant surprises further along the way.

Raw materials

Given your application, which are the best raw materials to produce the plastic profile? After a thorough analysis, we determine which sort of plastic is the best solution for your application: hard PVC, soft PVC, PVC/GF, PVC/ABS, ASA, PP, HDPE, LDPE, HiPS ... We are familiar with all materials and also test new, innovative materials. Our orientation goes even further ... towards biodegradable materials that ensure the protection of the environment. PlasTec will guide you to find the perfect match, both in quality and in price.

Moulds

After selecting the right raw materials based on the design, the appropriate (extrusion) mould is selected. Besides our vat range of more than 700 moulds, PlasTec designs and manufactures your custom-made mould. We pull out all the stops to achieve the best result, considering of course the quality/price ratio.

Extrusion and Co-extrusion

Production starts after your final validation. Our extensive machinery pool consists at the moment of 17 extrusion lines, where we process the different raw materials, and is provided with the latest technological production machines. High-quality machines combined with professional manual labour and extensive experience guarantee the delivery of a qualitative high-end profile, according to the customer’s specifications.

Supply, Delivery and Transport

Thanks to our modern industrial buildings, spacious warehouses and technical product knowledge. To ensure the perfect closing of the project, we work together with professional partners to take care of the delivery of the finished product.

Everything is finished down to the last detail, both at the start of the project and at the delivery of the profiles. We make sure that every step in the process is carefully studied and finished, until the customer is 100% satisfied.
